The Dead Zone.

I find it funny how, most books,  later in life when read, are some times the best. It doesn't matter whether or not it is a matter of craft of good story telling, it just is a good book. Well for most anyway. I finished The Dead Zone by Stephen King, this one was a under the radar for me. Something I wasn't expecting all too much going into it. I knew of the tv show on USA a while back, but never watched any of it.

Note: The show isn't one of his associated works. It just happens to take from it a little. Even one episode I think uses the book's story line for its plot.

But say the least, this one is a fine example of King stretching his legs, or fingers, out for a break from his well known craft of stories.

I recommend this book for anyone who needs a break from there normal genres and to try something Under the Radar.

Lunch

I haven't made a good sandwich in a long time. But today, I spoiled myself. Quality pastrami, red onions, spring mix, Golden's spicy brown mustard on wheat bread.

E3 madness!

Been watching so much E3 coverage my head is exploding and imploding in on itself. Lol, but I'm one of the very many people who watched both Sony and Microsoft's conference. And my reaction is one of dismay towards the latter.

One:
Yes, Xbox has come out and basically said they are now Brother Eye, lol, joking. But the whole "Always online and system being on" is a little sad. So no more offline anytime, unless you turn it off after start up the console. So my hope is, in a year after launch (Which is when I buy my consoles), I expect for all the problems that are stated at this point, to be gone or settled with. Hopefully.

Two:
Yes, Sony kicked ass. There I said it. "Meh :P". I've always been one who wasn't loyal to one or the other when it came to this console war or battle. Frankly, I buy them for the exclusives, because they are worth it. Sometimes the controllers are better on one than the other, also Sony looks good on HD.

Three:
Games, Games, Games, Games! The reason I mostly watched was for the games and updates on the new consoles, but solely for the games! Lol. There were plenty of reasons why not to go for the next gen (as usual) but the years get better and better with the tech and the dev's.

So . . . with that all said . . . I still intend to get the two consoles "SOLELY" for the exclusives. If one game looks better than the other on a console, it wont matter. I'll have them both. Lol, and be broke lmao.

There is my two cents.
